Any pics of this beast , from a foreign land, you speak of Bryan ?
See...i think the classic lines of the bygone era are a thing of worship
that even in todays market place are being recreated .
The last 25 yrs of so called design have done nothing to individualize one maker from the other ...they are as different as one chinese to the other. They have engineered out any modicom of brand appeal  and become boringly general look alikes to each other.
I also get ..in part....what PG is saying ....most people these days with modern bikes are not even a mere shadow of the lifestyle and fraternity of the past .

Hey Bryan, Ihave a Mad Mac style fairing that I have been trying to give away for years. I even put it out on council cleanup where they promptly put an orange sticker on it, took everything else and left the fairing. It is already colour matched to your paintjob.  Bonus.

Jesus Bretto - that's harsh, but fair.....
I tend to agree with Irish, but we are back to the old form vs function argument - which doesn't really wash with these dinosaurs we all love.
In fairness, the only reason I have a fairing is to protect the Speedhut tacho I have used - designed for cars, not waterproof - oh sure, I prob
could have Macgyvered it to waterproof but, well, there it is.......
I'm on the hunt for a fairing similar to the french endurance bike - Ducati/Guzzi I believe

They broke the mold when each and everyone of us were born....
I appreciate the reasoning as to why...my head keeps flopping from side to side and back and forth when out for a ride.
Aaand...i DO keep putting my foot on the rear brake ...thinking its the accelerator ....not to mention clutch changes using the gear shift.
Soooo....it s "off with the fairing"....maybe....hmmmm....yeah...nahh. ;D

rest of bike is sweet but yeah nah, the same reason i dumped having fairings/bubbles,screens and sh!t is coz they always give a boring old fart look with an underlying made for granny and grandpa effect, they also make the rider lose touch with the ride and go all soft and pampered, there's no wind blast action to become one with nature and to toughen neck muscles, so basically no real difference than driving a civilized cage with a lovely plush carpet interior.., Bare fronts always look better and riders should always place more importance on looks than comfort...

Between a monkey and a gorilla.... Jeff
You remembered I complained about the look of the OEM unit
I looked at all kinds before settling for this
Just how hideous are the coolers/radiators on the current models...
The MT09 IN particular..... wouldn't stop me from owning one tho...
