I might still have the screws I couldn't use, like the middle one in my linked topic and your picture above. They're yours if you want them.

Having the PN is a good start.   A search at my local Yamaha dealership brings up a price (about $18 each) but no availability (= not in stock).   They still might be able to get them in from Japan for you.

Depending on how many you need, Rolf at PlenterNZ is showing one in stock, but not cheap.

Thanks guys but none of them have the ones I need.
I tried Mikes XS as well and a few other places in Europe.

The ones I want are P/N 2A2-14923-00.

Jonesy - They look like the middle screw from your picture in the air mixture post  you suggested that I look at.

OK, a bit more digging found this site in Canada, which shows that there are at least three different screw designs used on the BS38 carb, but it also shows a couple of idle screw kits for the BS34:

Allan, maybe try this guy:

https://www.geoffsxs.com.au/OpenCart/index.php?route=common/home

...he shows mixture screws for BS38 carbs (XS650) and maybe a chance to fit (?? - I have no idea, but worth an enquiry, perhaps):

https://www.geoffsxs.com.au/OpenCart/index.php?route=product/product&path=4_36&product_id=997

If they aren't suitable, he might be able to point you in the right direction.

Mikuni Oz is another possibility:

Idle Mixture Screws
« Reply #1 on: April 30, 2020, 11:09:04 AM »
Does anyone know where I can buy Idle Screws separately?
I don't need full kits as I just have the usual broken mixture screws.
Thanks.
