Welcome  Chich,
Nice looking example of a splendid machine. Looks like there's not much to do to her. What are your plans?
Are you in Sydney?

There are a few of us here and can help if need be.

See you on the road,

Eddy

G'day,

I'm introducing myself as I have just became a new member.

I have recently become the 3rd owner of a '78' and have submitted photo's of my first cruise with 17 other mate's on moderns, Sydney to Nundle return last weekend, 1000kms approx.

The magnificent beast ran like a champ although it could do with a brake system overhaul and the 1st photo is of me out of fuel as apparently the fuel station was 40miles not 40kms away!!

The gentleman in the Jeep is rendering assistance. Good Ol Aussie camaraderie.

I do understand the paint scheme is from a later year and the original owner found a special on black spray paint at Bunning's.

I do plan in time to refurbish the motor and rims to their former glory.

I look forward to picking your brains and one day meet some forum members on the road.

Cheers Ivor and The Cougar (magnificent beast)
