I think he is trying to say that you should check the frame is level and square.  Who cares, it's shiny and cool!!!  Looking good mate.

hehe all very well looking shiny, won't hide the history, even a little prang knocks the frame out of whack,  if the steering stem ain't sitting perfect end of day  just 1mm out at the top means about ten mm out at bottom of wheel... wonder how many are un-knowingly riding around on a twisted frame..  heaps i bet...

A level and a string line will only be as accurate as the base you have the frame sitting on!

Scarfey hes saying A weighted string will always be dead vertical and a level bubble will always be dead centre. Simples

I bought some rattle can Enamel from Repco.  The finish is great but it takes a long time to dry.

check frame sitting dead flat a level bubble should stay dead centre
length of bike, drop weighted string down steering stem, should be dead vertical
