Thanks I think I'll stick to the wide bars. What are they off.

Gotta ride the Chooky to the Off Centre at Mungerannie in August, (all welcome to join us) then it might go.

The CBX is sacrosanct. No way it's going. I just put it on Vintage plates yesterday.

yeah the bars make a lot of difference to the feel of a bike, one i had before had pretty radical cafe type position, but "looked" the part. less feel and control on dirt roads, difficult to maneuver like doing ueys etc, but when adjusted to a more standard position everything was sort of just easier and more comfortable.
hang onto it scarfey and piss the chooky off or that 6 cylinder thing :-)

Bugger,Bugger, Bugger. I returned the old girl to almost original and then my big mistake.........I took it for a ride.......now I don't want to sell it.

The big bars make so much easier to handle for a little bloke like me and of course it rides beautifully......have to wait til after the rally before i make a final decision.

George..be aware .these are the USA 2H7 bars.........they are wider than the 2H9.
If you are using standard 2h9 mirrors they have a longer arm than the 2H7..so will look like BAT Wings.
The USA 2H7 mirrors have a shorter stem to adjust for the wider style bars.
A while back I bought some OEM USA mirrors......they gave me a nice view of my forearm :o :-[

Been looking for a set of these for quite sometime George. They are like hens teeth....unless you buy the bike thats hanging off them as well.
Maybe we could see if there is anyone out there who could bend up a few pairs.

I'm after a pair of standard handle bars to suit my 1979 model.  I took the drop bars off. Happy to swap or give them away. Also took the digital speedo off. Happy to take cash for that. make an offer.
