welcome aboard matey,
we'd all love to hear about the history
of the bike especially the spoked rear wheel.

Oh yeah that unmistakably it.
Good to see someones looking after it. Wasnt sure if it was still alive after the Irish guy I sold it to swung by to show me how it looked  after he'd owned it for a while, rather he hadnt really. looked like he'd payed someone in beer to paint it all black with aeosol cans. I painted it in the original silver and grey "G" colours.

Chrisso if you're out there I can bore you silly with history, my own maintenance log books(still got 'em) etc.

Gidday Jonesy. Welcome to the fraternity. Tis a real pity you missed Coopz RH as it was a real beauty. Funny that there was a real glut of XS11's on the bay a few weeks ago but now you're looking for one, there's none to be seen.
BTW Your old bike didn't look something like this, at all??

It belongs to one of our guys, Chrisso, who's had it for about 10 years.
As soon as you mentioned spoked wheels, I started looking.

G,day Fellas I'm an old/ previous XS owner who has strayed away and played about with Guzzis and presently an 850 TRX, And now I got a hankering to get back on an 11. My old one I had for 14 years toured Oz and modified with a home engineered spoked rear wheel RGV 205 twin spot fron brakes under slung rear caliper and the list goes on. parted with that in the late 90,s to an irish backhoe driver in Sydney. Would really love to here if anyone has spotted it.......meanwhile if anyones got any leads on a nicely restored XS let me know.

Thanks
Jonesy.
