One thing i m observing from comments and posts , is the passion , and trying to put " that" into a catch cry or statement of where we live and what we ride  that will stir emotion  in owners and others. All of which we would all be proud to wear and show off.
Now , put those thinking caps on guys and gals and plug them into the nearest 240v outlet , throw da switch and lets see wot goes ....bang !!!
 Suggestions Please...!!!!

The motto or saying comes from the UFC/MMA.............definately no gay pirates in that bunch.....and i definately would nt call one of the fighters that to his face....
Anyways......it was never meant as a " Club Design".. (was stated as "my personal preference" )......the arrangements and designs are there as a guideline and " examples "  just to show what the xs1100 logo with or with out any wording of any type and size , pictorially would look like. Brian i like that you ve shown club laverda s wording............. maybe we can have some suggestions from every one........on  what and if any wording would be suitable for us?
Suggestions re Logo placement , size , front or back as well as wording, if any please...... everyone?????
This previous post already explained , and so i thought , put that baby to rest re the motto Xtian......

Just got this reply from DoDo (Doris) runs the XS group in her area in Germany Jeff note her comment

Hi Chris!

Sorry, I can't write in the forum I forgot my password (if I really signed in at any time???).
But, perhaps, you should tell Jeff the information at the end of my mail.

My favorite for a T-Shirt would be:

Front: small Logo + "Australia" (under the logo)
Back: big Logo + "... what else?" (under the logo)
or
big Logo + the marketing-slogan of Yamaha for the XS1100 in 1978/79: "... something special!" (under the logo)

Colour: Black is great -> but then you should have a white printed field under the other colours of the logo. Makes the colours of the logo more intensive.

Also a good colour for this will be "mottled" (greying, tinked with grey - don't know how this is called in Australia).
It is much better than white and all colours looks good on it.

______
Because Jeff's favorite slogan: "Let's get ready to rumble"
-> That slogan is under copyright/licence of the guy who always shoud this before the fights.
So if you use this slogan you are always in danger that you have to pay lots of money because infringement of this copyright!!!
______

Have a nice day!

All lookin good Jeff, wish i could do the graphics like that, ( i know about as much about computers as i do about the mind of a woman, every time you think you got them figured out they change)
Perhaps can you slot in the word legend up the top or something like,   " the legendary " or is that goin overboard a bit?
 well they are!!!
