OH Gawd. I don't know what I need yet.
Still need to figure out what the problem is that is causing this shake or rather more like a low frequency vibe along with the usual bit of buzz.  :-\ :-\ :-\

Hi Hop
Call me mate on 0363269671 or 0408 590 580. Have different types of pipes in various conditions.
Post is always a killer for large items, but will get quote if you decide to go with what I have.
Cheers Carl

Hi there Steptoe
I reckon I do...saw a HiVo chain in a box the other day so I suspect there is one about. Not sure what it looks like...can you send a pic or maybe a part no: and I will look it up...You can have for post cost only if I have it....Carl

wouldn't happen to have a hyvo chain "slap" pad, [it goes above the chain] in pretty good condition, am trying to rebuild 516 [eng #] for a mate.

it has so much wear & and the chain is so loose the chain is climbing onto the crank teeth & locking the motor from starting.

                                      I HOPE

I seem to have become an XS1100 magnet in my sleep......Tassie is such a small place that once you become known for something, say a healthy appetite for XS1100's, they come to you....ha ha. Any way I have bled the bank account and have way too much XS stuff. I am sure there will be shared love and parts for all who want........Carl  ;D

Excess XS parts
« Reply #1 on: November 23, 2009, 08:33:13 PM »
Hi All  ;D Once again I have gone silly and brought another XS1100. Now I have three full bikes (minus a couple bits n bobs) and many many spares. Lucky for you guy's I have decided that as I have only 1 bum and can only ride one at a time so I am culling and concentrating on two bikes only. As a result I have heaps to sell so I can buy things like rego, oil, tyres, filters, insurance blah blah, you know the kind of stuff that cant be swapped. So I will start with what I need (will swap stuff for them) and what's up for grabs. More will be added soon as I have boxes and nooks and crannies that hide all sorts of stuff.

What I need

Clip on's

up for grabs

XJ 1100 motor (will slot into XS1100)
5n5 motor in pieces
Special frame
Standard Frame
Standard Tank (2) 1 sold $50.00 with cap & key 1 left
Special tank
Wheels front & rear (heaps of)
Diff's (heaps of)
Swing Arms (heaps of)
Coils (pair of each)
CDI units (one of each)  14-04 sold
Lots of electric parts (rectifier etc)
1978 XS1100E reg till march $2800 (two buyers pending-on hold for moment) SOLD
Solid front discs never machined
Air filter boxes (heaps of them)
Speedo XS1100RH
Taco XS1100RH
Tyres with tread $25 plus post (some with plus 75%)
Triple clamps
Forks

There that's a start....If it's not listed ask as I more than likely have it, except for the bits I want.

Cheers Fungorus
