This was the initial findings, 1 & 2 piston missing completely, the bottom of the bores smashed off and of course metal in abundance

The initial call came through while on the WA run in Oct 24,
“I have a motorbike that’s been sitting in Lismore for ages with a blown motor and the mechanic/shop owner isn’t in a hurry to do much “,    He’d been talking to Eddie and had bought Jonesy’s rolling frame and motor as well as a complete motor from Melbourne, and of course both gentleman had suggested he chat to me
So I suggest he goes and retrieve it ( Dereck is on the Sunshine Coast)
and bring it to the barefoot garage where it’ll get the correct attention and rebuilt.
A date after Xmas was organised, and he turned up with the bike and the spare Melb motor (that was running when removed from the bike) if it was running, it wasn’t running very well after the initial pull down of both motors,
