well i put orange 3ohm dynacoils on mine, (a hotted 1196cc)
and a few "experts" on various xs11 forums were quick to
inform me that the engine would basically self-destruct
into exploding molten chunks of debris whilst simultaeneously
frying the entire ignition system to a smouldering crisp, and also shoving
an extra steel plate in the clutch was going to end
the whole planet in a fiery blast, and running non-resistor
sparkplug boots was going to cause mass extinctions and having
the vac-advance actually running whilst idling was a total
recipe for even more absolute disaster and modding
this and modding that was going to further annihilate
all known life as we know it but strangely enough
all that advice turned out to be b.s. and everything ran perfectly instead...  sigh...  ;)  check out huskyyam vids onutube..

5.0 ohm coils with boyer ignition

Hey out there in xs land
So I have another question for the brains trust , so I have decided to install a boyer ignition sys on the hack  to make her more reliable and then the entire electrical sys will be upgraded and modnised.  After looking and recerchibg ( thanks again to Christian for finding all the info for me) what coils are needed for the boyer kit turns out that boyer recommends  a coil of 3.5 to 4.0 for there kits , the only coils from DYNA that I could find that where above 3.0 was 5.0 ( these I have bought) I'm just a bit concerned that the 5.0 coils may cause some damage to the sys ? If any one can tell me if its OK to use 5.0 coils or if I need to find another alternative befor I fit them and do some damage.  Stay safe stay strong
