Better bring it round mate, and get that chrome swingarm cap at the same time, swing arm has to come off, 2nd thoughts I should come to you in case it needs to be in the workshop overnight

Andy, all are interchangeable, tricky, no, fiddly, yes.

I think you can still get them NOS. cost around $80

Just noticed that the rubber boot has a split in it.

Couple of questions ..
Is the replacement model specific? I don't want to buy the wrong boot. As some of you know I have an XS1100H 1981.
Is the job particularly tricky? Are any special tools required?
