 with whatever airfilter setup ...

They were only on the bench bike not the ride.

PGNZ, you are telling me stuff I already know.
This was just a suck it and see effort as I had just picked up the carbs checking for fit and decided to fuel them up and see what happens.

 zrx1100/1200 carbs, keihin 36mm, not quite plug and play,
bit of pissing around to slot into xs airbox, gotta elongate(round file) the mount holes to slide airbox forward a bit, also need to shag around a bit with throttle cable etc,, but no big deal to fit...
Did run with stock jets but way lean (in real world blue spark at idle is too lean btw)

 zrx stock were 115 main and pilots small as well, trial and error-ed to perfect 140's and a couple sizes up on pilots, also washer-shimmed needles up higher about half mm or so, k&n filter and a few holes drilled in airbox under filter, (1196cc and flowed head though..}
All good, grunt galore at any revs, 40mpg@110kph cruise and way smoother and more responsive than stock 70's 34mm mikunis...
 
Gotta shove a pair of inline filters on the fuel hoses coz sensitive carbs do crap out from from the tiniest bit of debris inside...  Compared the old clunky mikunis you can damn near pour a cup of mud in them and still no worries  lol
