When my brother did the head on his police special he needed some fairly thin ones, around the 210- 215 thou I think, he took thick ones to a engine machineing shop and they shaved them to his spec, on the under side mind you, half the price of new ones.

Smallest I have in my (85 shim) library is a 245. I still have 4 complete engines with shims still installed to check out, but I am certain I have not ever seen one under 240. Our riding season is fairly short so we may have less selection due to low usage engines. It is still common here to pick up an xs11 with under 30,000 kms.

Generally for me the most common shim sizes I've come aross are in the 230 to 290 range,  but the re-hab motor has several 200 size shims. A first for me, So what about your's?
