I'm new here. My son and I bought a running but rough XS1100 to fix with help from my retired Dad (a much more experienced mechanic than either of us).
So far it will need at least a set of rings, bore hone and new camchain tensioner. The speedo and tacho cases are a bit mangled as well. We are about to split the case this afternoon - we get together on Tuesday afternoons for bike work time. More information will follow...
