Mate it will make the bike run rich as, if it runs smoothly at all,,
And most importantly it has the potential to fill the motor oil full of fuel resulting in catastophicness at the next start up

If you cant get parts, I have  rebuilt exchange taps here

fuel leaking from vacum hose into manifold
« Reply #1 on: August 27, 2016, 09:01:36 PM »
Hi guys
I have a fuel leaking from the small breather hole in back of petcock.
And when I removed vacum line I have alot fuel getting into manifold.
so when I removed the back plate of petcock thinking diafram was stuck, after watching steptoes video on how to rebuild fuel petcock he said the small brass one way value should only suck not blow. tested mine and guess what it blows and sucks.
So my question is what would fuel in manifold do to bike?
And do I need a new backing plate as it looks like the
brass one way value is pressed in?
cheers guys
