It was really great to catch up with everyone. Did a quick drop by on Saturday arvo to check out Bryan's baby. It's niiiiiiice!

^ An extremely proud owner (photo does neither any justice at all!)

Rolled into the venue to be met by Bryan at the gate, and put the bike under the marquee, said g'day to our neighbor for the day, Raf, and gave him a little pressie to put towards his 5H4 resto, then Tim arrived some time later, sans outfit. He'd come on his slabby, and hid it out in the carpark for fear of some sort of retribution for being so insensitive to come to the show on a foreign bike. Some time passed by and mine was still the only bike there, when Bryan came over and said that he'd just been on the blower to John who was now on his way. It was pissing down rain on the Gold Coast and he'd assumed the show would have been cancelled. Eventually, he arrived, so we at least had 2 bikes in the big top.

Met quite a number of interesting people during the course of the day, including Clutch & co, and Keith, another 78E owner from up north, and Bill, who's son, Andy Gerding hails from Tassie. I think some of you have met Andy. We all remarked on what a small world it is,eh?

Thankfully, the clouds that had threatened all day didn't come to anything.
John said his goodbyes after his run on the dyno, and Tim departed shortly after.
I helped Bryan pack things up, but then got a bit distracted by a nice lady I knew from my teens and missed saying farewell to both Bryan and Raf, so apologies, guys.
I'll catch up again sooner, rather than later.

If all goes to plan I will see you all on Sunday, (if the show isn't cancelled like last time I rode up)
sorry to hear you won't be there Jonesy, not to late though we are leaving in the morning and you're welcome to join the ride.
Plan on heading up to the sunshine coast to see some mates and be back in bris by sunday.
