Hmmm ???

I thought that the XS1100 BS was a model that I didn't have ;)

Does anybody know what year it was?

I have a couple of "EEEEs"

A couple of "RHsss"

I now have one RH BS rear wheel hybrid :D

I have an "HHHHHAYCH"

I even have a genuine "PEEEEEEE" 8)

Can't picture the ugly peanut fuel tank  ;)  unless it is the one described as an RH tank, which looks cool but is totally impractical for longish rides.

Agree on the monkey bars though  :-*

Eddy......I m guessin "BS model " is Authors choice ...that can be applied to a perceived Lower standard model than the aforesaid "Authors" bike  or any other under discussion ....albeit motorised or not.
ie ; that is a " BS " Perambulator .
That's my "Wiki " interpretation

Andy,
you can do a search on eBay.com for one.  They are rediculously cheap from the good Ol' US of A.  I think from memory the fellas in SA have done the XS750 final drive swap.  I'm not sure of the results.

I have done the BS 16" swap on my daily ride RH. It appears better in city traffic (Sydney) but I really can't tell the difference.  What it does do in my opinion is give the bike a beefier stance with a thicker rear tyre.  Performance difference I can' notice, it just looks better.

Eddy

Cheers mate. I am not really looking to swap wheels.  I have a low profile rear tyre for some extra under seat clearance, 130x70, and I thought it would be nice to give it a little taller gearing, not going to die in a ditch over it.  Freight from the US is pretty pricy, I've looked on ebay and yes there are heaps over there.  Just thought I'd take a punt on the fact that someone might have one kicking around the shed.

Cheers,
Andy

here's two ratios on 750's c and d models from memory ,  one's taller geared than the other,
both would be useless on a 17" xs11,  the disgustingly ugly 16" yankee-B.S. models with peanut tanks
ape-hangers and bedroom sofa seats are the only type you'd wanna change,
no use dropping revs too much, the throttle goes spongy believe it, 300 revs dropped is plenty enough even then you want a souped-up engine to match it ...

So that's a no then?

Does anyone have a XS750 final drive that they are willing to part with?
