I,ve spent the weekend redesigning the towbar, it came to drill a hole in the flat for the towball,{a 22mm hole}
the problem being with a half inch chuck and the biggest drill being a 13mm, how do I make a much larger without an engineering shop
I started with a drawn circle

then centre pop all the way round just inside the mark

then I used a 2.5mm drill with just enough gap for the drill not to fall into the last hole

with a large punch belt inside out


clean up with a rat tail file and volia there you have it, Bob's your uncle



wouldn,t have taken 20 minutes with the drill press
