Welcome John. I`m on the sunshine Coast with a `78, so not too far away. (into FJ`s too)

Let me know when ya down this way. (I don`t often head North cause of my Phobia of teeth ladened Lizards, cyclones, killer stingers and dangerous barefooted influencers!) Cheers!

Hi,im new to the club and have a 1978 xs1100 that is almost complete, living in Rockhampton QLD makes gathering parts etc a bit of a mission, the postage costs are absurd which brings me to the reason I joined this club, any tips or local knowledge from your end of the country would be a big help in getting this bike back on the road,I have a couple of other yamaha bikes xjr1300,xt600 and other makes,as for the xs1100 I was 16 in 1978 when one appeared in the local bike shop and blew me away now I have that same model.
Cheers John.
