You can always add a spacer at the lever pivot point, between the lever holder and the lever, so the lever does not return all the way out. You just need to make sure the clutch cable and front brake are readjusted and that front brake master cylinder still operates correctly. Cheap and easy. By doing it this way your levers will still have the correct shape at the hand grip. Also easy to change back if required.

My daughter wants to get into bike riding. Problem is she is 5'2 small hands. Sat on the xs250 and her fingers are at a stretch to pull the brake and clutch levers in. For some unknown reason Yamaha have curved the levers away from the handle bars, very odd even the salesman was puzzled. After market levers are pretty much the same.

So the question is can you heat the levers and bend them in a little? will this weaken and possibly break the levers under pressure? Being alloy I'm not sure how heating and bending effects the metal.

She does have an option to buy the Suzuki but I'm a Yamaha man through and through.
