Running rough, but quite tidy -
CLICKETYJudging by the general condition of the bike, I'd guess the mileage to be genuine. Starting and running issues could be a mechanic, not mechanical issues, if it's not an old school bloke who's servicing it.
I'd seriously consider this one if I had the cash to spare.
"Classic 1981 Yamaha XS1100 R Sports. Kilometres: 49,537 Matching numbers. Last full service in January. Engine runs but needs major work. Runs very rough. In recent months has become difficult to start. Mechanic says cam chain noisy and starter clutch needs replacing. Tear/crease in seat on left side, small section of paint on tank has lifted next to fuel cap. Bottom of side cover on left side secured with cable tie. Wear and tear consistent with 33 year old bike. Bike is on club plates (which will be removed) so rego is not transferable. Battery recharger lead not included in sale. Not sold with RWC. New tyres front and rear in January. I highly recommend you inspect the bike before bidding. Bike is advertised elsewhere so I reserve the right to remove it from sale without notice. I work from home so collection by your courier at your cost is not a problem. "
