Maybe this is a project for the next get together Eddie is a wiz with wiring and Cooper is full of ?? info I can bring A standard Taco to try  :P

Blokes,thanks for all your efforts.I will look at the tacho one day[it took me 10 years to buy a chainsaw]Ps The tacho vibrates with motor on[the little blighter is trying so hard;so cute] COOPS; When will u be arriving?

Unfortunately this Tacho is for a special.  There are subtle differences like the high beam indicator in the middle. yours has it on the idiot lights.

It will fit and it will work...but you will have modified your MOST original unmolested cickle and may lose the title.

You are after a 5K7 version from ebay.de or ebay.co.uk

Forgot to mention Scotty with regulator unbolt it from frame and clean any crud rusty crap etc around threads especially scrap off any paint back to bare metal where the bolts fasten reg to frame also clean earth contact buy some stainless steel hex bolts  m6 I think give the cleaned area a spray with a good lubricant and refit reg. Coops
