Rode to the island the long way. Over the top through Cabramurra then onto Beechworth up through the ranges in Victoria and onto the island.
Rode back the short way through Bairnsdale and Cann River. All in all 2330 Km.
Went through so many twisty I buggered a front tyre that I had just put on as a set with the back one. I usually wear out two back tyres for every front but this time the front died first.
Races were a bit disappointing they stopped the last one eight laps short when an engine blew oiling the track.
