I'm selling my bike. I had it up on Gumtree, but only got spam emailed to me. I guess the price was a bit high.
I'm not looking to make a shirt-load of money off the bike, but am after a fair price.

"This bike is rad. I've had it since 2010, and have worn out two sets of tyres touring about on it. It is showing no signs of wearing out any time soon. It has 22L fuel capacity, enough to get you from A to B on a tour. I rode fully loaded on one tank from Townsville to Belyando Crossing, Qld. That's pretty decent.
It has a massive, comfortable seat. Room enough for 2. Power enough for 2 plus tons of gear.
The bike is very nice for tours and nimble enough to navigate traffic jams with ease.
The tyres are so new they have ~80% of the nipples left on them (michelin front, bridgestone rear)
I have a ton of tools specific to the bike that will come with it, enough for fairly serious tune ups and maintenance. Also I have the manual. You can take that, too.
The bike is registered in Qld, but currently sits in Sydney. I can probably deliver it just about anywhere on the east coast.
The bike is 34 years old, so it has some unique features and upgrades not available on the stock version, also some parts have been worn out and replaced. Things I know that have been changed on the bike (i.e., I replaced):
clutch (~5,000 km ago)
fuse box (~2,000 km ago)
carburettors (now Mikuni smooth bore, 38mm with K&N filters. Yep, awesome. ~ 10,000km ago)
Things that aren't original, but that previous owners have obviously changed:
4 into 1 exhaust
I have added:
panniers + pannier rack (leather, 20L each, I think)
Venturi rack-top bag (65L)
Mechanically, the bike is super. Spark plug number 1 has a helicoil, but that's about the only glitch I can find. Leaks virtually no oil.
Check the pics for carbs, air filters, clutch, odometer (it's 34 years old, odo. has probably wound around), awesome places you can go, and gear you can fit.
