Now up for auction on the Bay - CLICK

Sellers blurb has altered substantially from the original ad -
"This bike is in very good mechanical condition, looks good and runs well, just out of rego, has had extensive repairs and is rego ready. Eligible for club rego."

There are currently 16 ads on just the one site of classifieds here. They are all under 2,000 bucks except for a couple of hopefuls who do not know shite from shinola. If they have $10,000 invested in a chopper they will never get $6500 around here.
If you go to http://alberta.kijiji.ca/ and type in Yamaha XS you will find what our area has for bikes and prices. It may be interesting to some or might not, but that is why I am wishing I could ship a container full of them over there. You guys could have a ball.

Yeah I know... and all I would have to do is to get enough parts together to make a container load as well as an import export license and all the other crap involved. Right now I do not have over $2200 in any of my rides and some are in pretty nice shape with a bunch of new or rebuilt parts on them.
I bet I could buy 20 XS11's in the next three months and not spend over $2000 for any of them (probably many for much cheaper) but then what do I do with them? If I had a connection or the where with all to do it, I would. Problem is I am just a rider with cheaper parts available but no means to make it happen. Seriously wish I could do it.

Other than the non stock exhaust and the signal lights and mirrors it looks pretty good from here. Not sure of all the model differences but those lines on the clutch cover look suspect to what we have had available here for stock components.
Of course if I had to pay his price I would have shit myself then went on to drink a few more beers before wiping. A museum stock bike would go for maybe $4500 here and it would be low mileage and bone stock with no dings or scratches.
I do know we have very different pricing there but geeze I should start my own little parts export business here and supply you all with parts and bikes that are affordable. If I knew how I could make a fortune and you fellows would get a better deal. Too bad I drive a concrete mixer for a living instead of being an importer/exporter.

Wow the Mac 4-2 really really raises the value of a "tidy" bike.
