man, I am getting really good at being wrong,,

pulled the speedo drive off this morning to strip down and expected the worst,,

NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT BLOODY THING EITHER >:(,,, except for the 2 little bits of steel spinning around in the spare space  :o,,, the tangs off the drive plate have sheered off

this is how I,m getting the speedo back up to the right numbers to keep this in line

note the drill down on the left,, and the speedo

would be interesting to hear some theories on how this occurred since the wheel hasn,t come off in 54000 ish klm since the tyre went on new,,,,,,,, yes your reading it right,,, it has seen 3 rear tyres and is on it,s 4th

Riding home the other night the speedo stopped working,,

figured it to be the cable,,, wrong,,,

Maybe it was the speedo gauge itself, wrong,, hooked a drill up,,

So the rattle in the front end that I thought was in the calliper assy is obviosly the speedo drive,,

Does some one have a sparey they,re not using that I can beg borrow or steal,,

Completly different from a std,,  it doesn,t have a thread  for a screw on , it has a  spigot for the cable and the  outer has a tang on the end that bolts from up underneath
