Here we go again.

Last time it "sold for  $580??????

Let's see what it does this time.

I may get lucky???????

Eddy
Not sure if your still out there but I bought this from you.
I think I paid $350
Like you said it's not all there but were getting through it.
I'm after the disc that screws onto the clutch cover.
I'll post some pics when she's going back together.
The mechanic's on a bloody cruise so progress has stopped.
The engine was interesting, a few dodgy items found hiding but all sorted now better than new.
We have a second bike to restore soon so if you've got any spares you want to sell I might be interested, not far from here.

Had a bit of a look at the sellers profile (he has a neat looking RH as his avatar) and looks like he'd be pretty safe to deal with. A dispute claim through Ebay'd smash his profile record, which is a major part of selling at auction.

You have a point. There is also the chance that the seller does not follow through with the sale. I've had that happen to me before where I got a great bargain but seller decided he didnt want to let it go for such a price.

Would make a great parts bike since reregistration may be a problem.

Hey Noz,

I had a bike shipped from Brissy to Sydney a couple of years ago  cost $350 door to door.

It will be interesting how much this "project goes for considering there is a very poor example asking $250 starting bid and the "project with a starting bid of $550 is changed to Buy it now for $950.

I'm being a bit sceptical but I don't think either of these will sell for those prices (I could be wrong)  IMO anything over $200 for this one will be a good sell for the owner.

I've messaged the seller. He has never had it registered, being from NSW could be a write off - immediate statutory. Anywho, I wonder how much it would cost to ship to Adelaide.

"Classic basket case" - CLICK

Looks to be nearly all there, though I can't see a TCI in the pics.

Numbers are VERY interesting as it's got a 5N5 listed as the VIN, and a 3X1 engine number.

"I'm certain all parts are there. If anything is missing, it will only be small. The frame has been blasted and painted 2 pak black. Bottom end of motor is good, new timing chain. Have new rings for it. 2 x heads, 1 has 2 cracked fins and the other is in good nick. Valves are in the broken finned one. NO SHIMS, buckets are there. Remaining gaskets are needed there, enough carby bits to rebuild the four carbies, enough brake bits to rebuild the brakes.NEEDS new tyres.Switches are there, headlight, tail light etc, instruments. If you want to know anything send me a message.NO mirrors.I was going to rebuild the bike, but haven't done anything for about 5 years on it, so it just has to go.

Located in Muswellbrook. NSW

Engine number - 3x1-003914"
