Just had a look at mine that are still hanging on the wall since removing 12 months ago.
Simply a matter of swapping the lines at the cooler, being swivel nut design the bends at the fitting can be redirected without any stress on the hoses.....if there is any stress it can be relieved by carefully  tweaking the solid pipes at the motor end, they are robust enough to handle it. Obviously the bracketry will ebd up on the spares shelf.

Errol,

he also said that he didn't know that that was not how they fitted on normally.

He said that when he held them up to the cooler that they were just naturally bent that way to go on as a cross over set.

I haven't tried it myself but I would think that normally if you tried that, then there would be a fair bit of resistance from the hoses to be revolved through 180 degrees.

Anyone got theirs apart at the moment that could give us some feedback on this?

Was having a bit of a reread of some of the older threads and saw there was some discussion about the fitting of Mac pipes to bikes with the oil cooler. These pics should help show how to go about getting them on without any trauma. Remember Wiz's bike?

He got around the problem of no header pipe clearance by crossing over the oil cooler lines.

Simple as that!
