Paul,
I did a rebuild on mine with aftermarket. Never again.
it "wept' and now replaced with a factory unit has nil issues.
Theres my 2 bobs worth. I think its worth the extra bucks.

I've already got a couple, one is out of a kit from Centauro/Italy and the other is from Vesrah/Japan. Hate to do a build and find out they were duds then have to pull down and chuck in a genuine.

hey jonesy, ive bought around 3 - 4 aftermarket
complete kits including the head gasket over the years,
 never had a problem
with them, also much cheaper than genuine.

Any opinions, experiences with aftermarket head gaskets?
My local bike shop recommended to go genuine...but it could be just a sales pitch
Any brands to avoid?
