the 15" wheel is a huge mod, the same as mine,,
it gears it down by heaps, some 5 or 600 rpm for taking the load off the clutch on loaded take offs, makes it rev a bit higher at 100klm but you get that

they machine the beads and spokes down so a 15 car rim fits over whats left, if you look real close you can see blocks between the spoke ends which is used to bolt the 2 together,
the bolts run down the length of the spoke thru the rim

What's the 15 inch rear wheel off?

I thought the XS ones were all 16 or 17 inch.

Nice ride, but funny as Eveready mentions, that he has choosen to keep it a secret for XS-lovers  ::)

Btw...
Is it a 10000watt bulb he has in the headlight, since it were able to melt the fairing down that way?  ;)

Maybe because the guy listed it as a Sidecar-Yamaha-HRD. I normally look for XS1100.
That's like doing a search on the Bay for "Holden" when you're after a Torana
