Self Cancelling Indicators Issue Update

Amendment to an incorrect conclusion.
The plot thickens.
Upon testing with the superceded flasher relay...the cancelling function/ unit works fine with the white red(from cancelling unit) connected to the white/green at the harness connector.
The ten seconds to cancel when moving confirmed.
The indicators when Stationary do not self cancel.

The following is an update on further testing regarding issues with self cancelling indicators not working.

On further testing of a number of self cancelling units (located behind the locking side cover) .
For whatever reason the supplier of these units to Yamaha has manufactured an extra wire to the connector ( a white/red ) .
.
There are a variety of these units that I have and that are available on EBAY.
There appears to be no consistent markings /serial numbers/model numbers that indicate they are for a different model .
The wiring harness connector is 5 pin only. The self cancelling unit is 6 wire.
NOTE....you MUST also use the correct Flasher Unit ( located behind the side cover that houses the Fuse box assembly).
