Not sure if it interests you or not, but there's a standard down here that one of the local dealers imported from the US. It has 23k miles on the clock and it looks like it could be true. The bike is fairly original looking and has heaps of potential. He hasn't advertised it yet, but I can get more details if you think you'd ship it up from VIC.

Just got off the ph from the bikesale seller and he wont be available when it suits me to see the bike so im gunna go after the hervey bay  eBay bike

Steptoe, thanks for doing that, I'm very appreciative of what you and Max have done. I'm gunna hedge my bets and check this bike tomorrow as well, its almost local, 2 1/2 hrs away then weigh up the 2 with the description you've given.....the Hervey bike is already a bit in front as a standard is what I really would like to get hold of.

righto, standing in front of it,,presents well as in pics,,

all chrome work is good, will come up smick with polish,,

starts without choke, and runs smooth straight up,, #1 has small fuel issue nothing major

tacho not working,, not an issue for starters

a good solid base bike, with room to tinker and personalize,, 1/2 day going thru with some tlc will have it up and running ,,

back brake has sticking cylinder, no biggy,,

wheels are better than fair, no major electrolosis probs

if I had the money I'd grab it,


go hard if you want it,, it will come down to the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ you want to spend


will help get it down you with a trailer and 3 local brothers ,, meet you half way some where
