what if,, :o

you were to take the "t" pieces, and make them 90 degree joints,,

all you'd lose is the large loop under the carbs

i did notice the nice porting work done.   :P

this damn internet i cant post pics at the moment,
but basically if u turn those T pieces around and configure
the hoses in the H shape, i was ablbe to keep the left hose
for the left petcock and left carb inlet  and right hose for right petcock and right carb inlet,
and joined the hoses to gether under the velocity stax.
these are with the velocity stacks attached to individual uni pod filters.

bryan,  might also be worthwhile changing ur oil if u havent done so already,
if that stuff has weaped past the rings it could have contaminated the oil.

hi bryan,
i have my fuel lines set up in a 'H' style,
i cant post pics atm, internet been restricted.

the inlets in general stay pretty clean as u only get
fuel passing thru them, but if ur piston tops are shiny, then its been
well worth it.

I have a niggling problem......not my age - no not that.
when my fuel level gets down my right two carbs starve for fuel... (the L and R fuel lines are not yet linked
this is what I have come up with BUT it's so inelegant I don't like it (even tho it will work)

any better ideas out there???

I used a threebond product today to clean the carbon off my pistons/combustion chambers - great stuff - warn the engine, remove plugs, spray foan into cylinder, replace plugs, turn over, let sit for 5min, then start and run spraying more int carbs -
After looking into cylinders thru spark plug holes I see the tops of pistons shiny....
this is a shot into #1 inlet
