I have one bike set up with the vetter and love it on long multi day trips. The other is for local shorter trips.
Nope the back of the shirt is plain. That's a pictue of my frirst "official" ride after my encounter with the deer back in July...

g'day d pott,,

welcome, nice looking bikes you've got,, must spend some time on them, but with that bloody coldness, riding time probly turns into cleaning time

don't know wether I like those "vetter" fairings or not,, don't see them on bikes over here,, might be 1 of those things that grow on you

do they have a bottom part or is it just the top


does the back your t'shirt {recieved from the kids} say old guys rule by any chance ?

Hi DPOTTER58 and welcome to the site. You'll have to post some pics of your bikes as we love photos here. I notice you tend to lean towards the Special variety. I've got a '79 SF but it looks more like a Sport ATM.
How's the weather?? About 93 degrees F but the humidity is through the roof at about 85%.
Has been that way ever since the floods hit a few weeks back. Must be all the moisture on the ground, I think

Hey folks. Found the site and looking for other ways to do things.

I have a few Specials. two 1981 lh and one 1980 lg.
I rode for years when younger racked up a few too many speeding tickets, had kids gave the bike away. About 8 years ago i found an 11 for sale picked it up and wondered why the hell I stopped riding...
I live in Maryland USA and right now it's 8 degrees f...

How's the weather down there?
