I can vouch for the SSB batt melb,, have 1 in the mates goldwing,,

can sit for 4 mths {it's not mine to ride all the time} and still spin the motor out of the frame on start up

the armin batts, I thought were frightfully expensive,, sorry, but I don't have that sort of money
{unless I was looking at the wrong listing}

I spoke at the Victorian meet about the maintenenace free battery I had.

In my senility I thought I had paid a lot less for it than it really cost. It was $160 after GST. $45 dearer than the heavy duty one I was after, but the guy in the shop talked me into it.

It has 22AH, so a bit more than the 18AH that you talked about Fred.

It has some really nice fittings on the top and comes with adapter so you can top mount the leads or side mount them.

It has been really good for me so far and the extra power is probably well worth the additional $45 on an RH with no kickstart option.
