Nice work Mr Walker.  :D

Might want to change that last line as it doesn't read quite right.

I have added the site URL to the comments in all of my FLICKR pictures. Hopefully a few lost souls will find us that way.

A possible start to a calling card. Needs refining but the concept is there, maybe  :-\. Used to belong to a club years ago that had cards. Was a bloody good idea.

Cards are a damn fine idea - the Moto Guzzi Club of Qld does the same thing and if you spot a fellow-interest rider or parked bike you can leave a card with your details and pretty soon you've got another member - or at least another rider on a run and the network grows.

To save money - why not work up a template (standard format) and we can then print them off at home with our own details added to personalise the message? Just a thought ... ;-)

Got one of the first in Sydney in 1978 that was the Macho Maroon E and the one I have now is the 80/81 H model.

It would be great if she did log onto the site.

Now that gives me an idea that we should have a card or few to carry around to hand out at meetings and rallies etc.......

sounds like you've followed these bikes for a long time Christian,,

it was only a very short chat ,, when she was talking about the race bike I did ask if it was a pitman, but she said another brand that I hadn,t heard of and  missed the name,, :-[didn't mention the year,,

the young lady wasn't talking s#*t, she knew what was what

hey fellas, and girls, have just got home from a "Netrider" run, some 800klm,was a good run ,started at a usual spot apparently for Brissy runs,, waterworks road, the Gap,, up to Malla tea house and sitting there are 2,, not one but 2 G's, identical, big tanks, red in colour with gold pin stripes, twin pipes, 8) standard as the day they were made

what are the chances of that  ??

but here it is,, neither rider knew the other,, :o :o one was a "young" bird [ I hope she reads this] her father won a Castrol 6 hr on one and they are going to restore the one she was riding,  they own a bike shop in Brissy somewhere,, I told her about the site

the other I didn't get to talk to, but they both took off from the tea house together,, I couldn't help but feel I was part of something special [ the wife just told me to type in that we were on a mates Goldwing,,, saving it from rack & ruin I was,, :-[]
