Aall true mate - except the dyno - while there was some resistance from the filth, we couldn't actually find one to come along so it was a bit of a moot point unfortunately.
Conversations I had with the powers that be suggest that since the band attracted no complaint the dyno would be unlikely to cause an issue.

You've got some great photos there, Bryan.
It was really nice to see the weather was kind to you on the day. Congrats to you and the boys for putting on a top day. I had some misgivings about the venue change as I thought it would lose it's identity, but full marks on the location. You've got plenty of room for expansion if need be, and parking was an absolute breeze compared to the old site.
Do you think the dyno will be back next year? I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't allowed this time, as I wanted to see how much grunt my old girl's lost over the years, but in hindsight, it's a good thing as my rear tyre was knackered after our play in the hills.

So you reckon we can have a tent next year? See you there, mate!

the ride started about 8.30am from our place with a bit of we'll see what it looks like at Evs', arriving 9.15ish
well that's what it looked like at Evs', do we cancel and chat all day, or wait it out,, Michelle commandeered Evs' computer and looked up the "BOM",, it was only a small storm front,, maybe 100klm thru, and was moving reasonably quick so we decided to wait it out and forgo a couple of sets of corners in the afternoon

talk quickly turned to 1100 business and "the" rally, and was roughly sorted and lined out

we ended up leaving some 2 1/2 hrs later with a light drizzle but the promise of dry roads 50klm on, it turned out to be right and spot on riding conditions followed for the rest of the day,, Ev chose some different corners from the first run, and we got to our accom just after dark with 10 mins to spare with  another storm front menacingly close,

sunday morning saw beautifull weather, a quick patch up job on my bike,, one of my head light ears were starting to crack thru,, and it was off to the show and a catch up with "Tony" from Caloundra, Ev hadn't met him yet so it was more members meeting and catching up,,

piles of exhibits and bikes,, some nice ones like the yellow one,, then there were the more out there ones like this one

a shot of the bikes at the show

then a really nice shot from the black all range above the sunshine coast between Melany and Montville,, Ev of course on the right with the MNS, me in the centre, and Tony on the left with the G

the rest of the ride home was quiet and uneventfull, which is the way I like it,,
as for the fuel this trip, on the straight flats I was still 500ml less than Ev,, but in the twisties and ups and downs, Ev was 100ml in front, all we can put it down to is the pipes
Ev will follow with a far more detailed report as only Ev can, he sees a lot more small stuff than I

don,t get to excited about the t-shirts just yet,, we're road testing and giving them a hard time to see how they hold up,, but if they hold up we have a deal with the "people" for a large order that will see them a lot cheaper the more we get

I'm coming! Though I hope you haven't hexed the event by starting that countdown thing, Geoff. You know it's been bad luck for us so far.
Remember this? - CLICK

EDIT...... Got around to cleaning up the old girl for ready for the trip down south.

The bike came up a treat!.............. But then, this happened.

Clouds appeared out of no where, and rain threatened all afternoon.

Sounds like a plan, Bryan. We should certainly have some more numbers by then, too.
Any news on the AU XS shirts, Christian? They'd certainly help make us look more of a dapper crew, eh?
Sad to see it go from the Bridge, though. It really did outgrow the area quickly.
