there were two types of mirrors on the 78E Standard.
Are you looking for the almost flat (shallow) backed one or the protruding (quite deep) backed one.
I ask because I have one (r/h side) of each spare. The deep one is OEM and brand new, the other came up well with a coat of satin black enael sprayed on.

Xs1100E Mirrors

Has anyone found or know of replacement oem mirrors to suit the 1100e standard .The usa ones have a differently shaped and shorter stem although the part that i need the mirror plastic holder seems the same.
Another question is has anyone ever tried with sucess to remove the mirror from the plastic holder?
