well i removed the bent handle bars,
really liked these, but the slight bend was really annoying
and was hurting my shoulders/neck  after a decent ride
and put the stock bars back on with the fairing

then noticed the mirrors werent equal to the fairing,
after a bit of measuring and frustration and then the realization
of how anal i am with the bike, i remembered i had changed the clutch lever
holder when the switch was broken

swapped them over and now they line up reasonably well.

Dunno where Pete got his scourers, but you can get them in all grades in most floor sanding supply shops and cleaning supplies shops. They have big round ones for on the bottom of those rotary floor scrubbers.

hi gary,
if u look in the pics where i have the buffers its the
smalll blue jar between the 2 bottles and white rogue,
its about $20 from memory, but lasts a while.

ill take a pic of the scourers a little later for you,
both the scourers and mothers polish should be available at any
auto spares shop.

Cheers Pete,

I know some have used the finest grade wire wool and then Solvol, I think the buffing wheel is the way I'll  go..  What's Mother's Polish ???

hi gary,
those fork legs were done with a buffer on a grinding wheel
using the brown rogue first followed by the white rogue last,
after initially rubbing the alloy down with the scourers i previously mentioned.
ive only very rarely use those products in the bottle,
once you get that inititial shine its not to hard to keep it clean,
just remove as many pits as posible the buffer will take out the scratches
for a mirror finish.
i also use mothers polish to get into the nooks and cranny that the buffer
cant get into.

the brown and white rogues have lasted me over 5 years
with plenty still left to use.

Those fork legs look wicked.....   ;D   Those two bottles of product, are they available in the UK ?  Or could you post the full details of the manufacturer please.
