 :D

The horn button from an RD350LC fits in the starter button of the XS11.

And it even had the metal centre bit.  It works.

 ;D

All good for rego now.

Makes me wonder where the centre bit went.
cheers

(pretending I'm Mr Smith & I'll ignore the warning about the post being 120+ days old...)

I've been having a long running battle with my starter button.

Sort of press it, jiggle it, move the wires, press it some more, rotate my thumb around on it and, if I persist long enough it may just start.

I've just pulled it apart & the centre of the button doens't have anything in it...
I was certain that there should be a little metal bit in the centre of the button to make the connection.

I've pulled two spare switch blocks (both with the button broken off) and there is nothing obviously different inside the block.

I've looked at the Kibokojoe's site (link from the original post of xtian, thanks) and the photos do confirm that the should be a little metal bit in the button to complete the circuit.

Tell me that this is correct, please?  I need the little metal bit inside my button.

I'm going to the 350's switch & see if the horn button has a little metal bit inside.  I don't think I'll need the horn on a race track any time soon.  I may get lucky.

cheers

I got 2 buttons from this guy. They are well made and slotted straight in. Good postage rates too.
