Don't think you're going to have a well earned rest  they get you up and about really quickly. 

3 of my 4 uncles have had it done, it's a common procedure nowadays.  Anyway, they tell me it's best to have it done early rather than later.  So good luck and get it over with

Father in law had it done a couple of years ago. Felt bashed about for a week or two, but has never felt better since.

Very safe surgery these days.

I'll be off the air for a week or so.....
I'm booked in for coronary by-pass surgery this Wednesday 
It's not that big a surprise - family history and all that - and I'm nearly 60yo
So anyhoo - should be pretty much up for anything in a few months......
