XS's still alive in NZ

Every now and then one turns up on Trademe, either as a complete bike or in bits like this one

but theyre usually have rediculous asking prices, and sellers that away with the fairies.

I wish i could find one in a barn somewhere, I'd love to have another.

I've finally received a reply from LTSA NZ (Land Transport Safety Authority) regarding my enquiry about how many XS11's are still on the road here in NZ, and apparently there are 5 registered at the moment. 3 in the North Island and 2 in the Mainland. They have not indicated models, so I dont know how many are Standards or Specials, but in 11 years of travelling, and attending rallies up and down the country  I have never seen another Special, so until I see or hear otherwise I'm claiming to have the only currently registered Special in the country.  Hey Patrick, do you know of any others? I know there's a modified standard in the Greta Valley,  North Canterbury, but thats the only other one I'm aware of at present.
