Hi there thought I'd introduce myself I have a 1978 xs hack that I have rebuilt from the frame up ,she is very close to done but In my wisdom I over tightened the pilot jet screws and guess what I snapped all 4 of them in there 😶 and I figured I had really stuffed up as im sure any one who has broken one off knows they are a bastard to get out, but after lots of careful pick work and making up a custom tool I managed to get them all out
😉 , so ordered 4 completed rebuild kits for them , rebuilt over the weekend and I thought I'd have a go at doing the fuel level trick that Andy from Andy's obsessions did on one of his videos , when I ran fule threw the sys it just kept filling and over flowed thrw the main body of the carburettors ( and all over the bench/floor ) . I have triple checked the float heights and run a full inspection of the carburettors ,just wondering if Anyone has an idea what might be the issue here and where I should start looking to fix it . Cherrs in advance Tarn
