Nice work Jones - at the top of the Oxley Highway and Thunderbolt's Way
This from some years ago on the Oxley - I believe the speed limit on the Oxley is now 80km/h - the challenge is now to not drop below that - IMHO
and what Hen said

and a few years ago I stayed with a group at the Royal cafe at Walcha - might be worth a query - BTW - mentioning Club Laverda Qld will not be an advantage  ::)

Sounds good to me. Food, beer and XS1100's. What more do we need? Hopefully people behave themselves and we can get back out of travel restrictions!
Ridin' the dream!

Bit of an up date
We are looking to have "our gathering" somewhere in the Walcha - Laurieton region of NSW. Just sussing out some potential accommodation, a pub is also in the mix. We wont be spoiled with catering or a walk in beer fridge like we've had in the past so a pub ticks those box's.
So Save The Date. The usual date of 1st weekend in May. Arrive Friday 30th April Depart Monday 3rd May or Sunday 2nd, your choice.

The most likely plan to work would be have “our” weekend as planned in May (destination to be cemented), and for those that can, attend the Ballarat VJMC meeting when it’s announced

Yes I agree, my self and brother had planed for the VJMC rally, next year I’m planing to cut my workload somewhat, hopefully have some weekends free🙄 I can organise the Toowoomba weekend but probably no further, we’ll see what happens.

Well.........., how about if Christian or another administrator sends out a bulk email drawing attention to this topic.
To guage interest in the place: Toowoomba motor village and the date: 30th April to 1st May 2021.
Then suggest people make there own booking and see what develops or something along those lines

Hi
just wondering how many units or cabins you have free in the given period at this stage. we are looking to make a bulk booking for the XS 1100 motorcycle group. Many of us were to attend
the VJMC meeting that was canselled due to the current C19 situation and are planning another smaller get together. Thanks Paul Jones
