Ok started from scratch today. Redid all the wiring, sourced another reg/rec and I am back on track. Ignition and charging system working now.. Would still be interested in alternate ignition.. But can continue with the bike now..
I bought a round tach from the US. Doesn't work. I still have a working square tach. I might try and swap the internals.. But if anyone has a spare I would love to purchase it 😁

Hey all
happy new year..
so have been on holidays. so got some good time with the bike..Front end is rebuilt and back on..now messing with the wiring.what a nightmare.
seems my reg/rec is cactus.bought another, still no luck..also tci looks shot.only running on 2 cyclinders.i am going to throw some new coils on hopefully its them and not tci...pulse coils test ok..no broken wires etc.alternator tests ok..i am thinking of going down the ignitech route..i researched and seems some on here have done this...looks like the tcip4 2 channel is the go?

regards mark
