Hey Mark
No Blue slip required, I was concerned about getting a bike registered without the riveted on compliance plate but club members(local car club) assured me it would be ok and they were right.

That sounds great.. Did you get a blue slip from a mechanic? Or through the club?

Hey Maark, historic reg in NSW is easy.
You must be a member of a club. I’m in VJMC. The paperwork required for historic reg is on the Services NSW website.

Cost is $45 per year ( plus $50 for a plate) then $45 per year there after.
You get 60 days per year to ride.
You must fill
Out the log.

Easy.

Hi all
have been busy while i have enthusiasm..forks rebuilt(fork seals, oil) and polished..front calipers rebuilt.new pistons and seals. also polished them..top triple clamp polished.about to do front wheel bearings, head stem bearings..have the headers off, trying to clean them up.
any suggestions for cleaning the original wheels?..all gold looks undamaged. just struggling to get them clean.
i also have been thinking about historic rego..If anyone has gone down this path,i would appreciate any info.how hard is it to get?..maybe i should keep it semi original until i obtain the rego then cafe racer it..or will it being modified make it harder to register?
Seems i have a couple of club options to join.ulyssses or VJMC..
