Yep it’s probably a good time to have a good ride, reduced traffic and such but there will only be servos open for food so if you like a good meal, not just hot box shit prepare to be disappointed.
Both my partner who is a cook at a pub and my son who works in a big sports club kitchen are both out of a job as of Saturday. Indefinitely. Only places that have the room to accomodate the number of people allowed per their square metre can offer food internally, it has to be takeaway.
So by all means go and have a great ride and weekend but be prepared to go hungry or eat shit!
Just sayin!

Guys, if this thing gets any worse they are going to be shutting down state borders.

I hate to be one who puts a dampener on things, but, this would be hard to justify as essential travel. There are going to be no pubs or restaurants open.

Sent this off to Toowoomba motor village
Hi
I booked a room for the VJMC event, which has since been cancelled due to C19. Some of us are still wanting to go to Toowoomba anyway, will you still be able to accommodate  us on the same dates?

Can anyone remember the name of the hotel we all booked into?
I"m keen to get together. I will be wearing my mask (helmet) and observing a1.5m exclusion zone on my bike.

I'm sure that if we can put something together a tourist based community/business somewhere will be grateful for the trade.

Sad news. I was really looking forward to the Rally.

Would it be irresponsible to suggest a smaller gathering similar to last year for the forum members.
