Do you have a spare frame with a compliance plate ?

I thought I'd seen a table somewhere with engine/frame numbers and there build dates eg: 3X1 000100 - 3X1 000400 were built 3/80
must have been on the UK site?
I'm not overly concerned as I've been assured I can get historic rego without a Blue slip/engineers certificate where a compliance plate & build date are required..........hope its true
But I'd like to get a true build date for the Pink slip rego inspector to put on his paperwork

I would assume the compliance plate on the frame...is the build date .
I can t see anything other than the month and year being provided at the time of build by yamaha...as per the id plate on the headstem.
I would think the compliance plate was installed on the frame during assembly to match the engine number.
No number....no way to tell.

Is nt the month and year stamped on the vin tag on the headstem?

Do we have the resources to put a month and year build date to a frame with VIN# 5N5 000287  and a motor # 3X1 000187 ?
