Hi "Camel" and welcome to the clan.
This starter issue. Just curious what type of oil you're using in the motor as the wrong type will cause the starter clutch to slip badly. Or, is the battery up to scratch? If it's not the best, it will not let the clutch rollers bite hard enough into the walls of the housing also making it slip badly

Hi Camel
Do you still want a set of rings? I have a standard set and live in Perth. Might be interested in shock absorbers.

Camel (probably not your real name, ha,ha.)
May be interested in the rear shocks, do you have some pics?
If so can you send them to bennos@myplace.net.au
Also what do you want for them?
I am also in Perth, so don't need postage quote.

Thanks.

Benno

Hey guys, a number of things for sale, no longer needed for the project.

Straight standard forks, fitted with progressive springs (have stock springs as well)(front fender mount ground off, painted black)

Top and bottom triple tree clamps, no spindle. (top clamp has bar holders ground off flush, painted black)

Tarozzi fork brace (black alloy, originally for an xs650, bored out to fit) bolts to custom made short fender (made from stock fender)

All brake calipers, rebuilt less than 100kms ago, all new seals, pistons checked for corrosion, all perfect, recent pads, painted gloss black

All brake discs, resurfaced on lathe and drilled in a straight 3-2-2 repeating fashion very recently.

2 rear wheels, one with good bearings, one with notchy bearings, both painted gunmetal grey. good wheel has a 140mm shinko e705, near new tread.

1 front wheel, almost brand new bearings, currently has a 120mm shinko e705 mounted, near new tread.

Swingarm/drive shaft and housing, recently had oil change.

Rear shocks, nitrogen canister kind, stock length, but adjustable for a special. black and silver. near new.

Carbs, the whole bank, and a rebuild kit for the entire thing (jets, seals, etc)

Pod filters, one set in silver, one set in black, cheap ebay shit.

Stock air box.

Side covers are a bit cracked and garbage, but anyone can have them for free.

There's probably other things I'm forgetting, message for pictures, prices and details.

Everything going super cheap, way less than I paid I'm sure, just don't want to throw it out.
there will be shipping costs of course.

Located in Perth hills if anyone wants to pick up.

Will swap any of these things for a good starter (clutch slipping on mine) or a set of new piston rings.
