A link inside Jeffs link shows 32006 & 32005 jrrs have seals
Thanks fellas now i'm fully infoed up to compare skf with ebay no name bearing kits

According to the book...and if memory serves me well....there is no seal over the tapered roller bearing...just a cover.

Tapered roller having trouble finding invoice hen filing system a bit hit and miss will keep looking  ;D
well no luck this morning purchased from allied bearings at Nerang just gave them the number off the bearing and asked if chance of one with seal and they had one.
what is the bearing number on yours,  ;)

If you could get a part number that would be valuable info, I've never seen a tapered roller bearing with built in seal, or did you put deep groove ball bearings in the "Henscott" machine?

hey
When I did Scotty's bearings the seal comes with the bottom bearing
supplied by bearing company much better then the kit which I did mine with.
when I spoke to Yamaha parts he said the seal is on the bearing.

If you need the number I think I can find it  :o

Jonesy,

Don't forget the seals which go with the bearings.  there is one top and one bottom.  I bought the bearings from SKF but found that they did not/could not supply the seals.  The most economical solution was to buy the kit.

That number sounds more like  a kit number, are there numbers engaved/etched on the bearings? Like 32005 or 32006?
